⁠Warning

DO NOT use this container on Windows or Mac OS X without following this advice. You WILL corrupt your SQLite database otherwise!

On Windows or Mac OS X, the SQLite locking mechanism does not work across multiple Docker containers or between a Docker container and the host. This means that opening a SQLite database from a container while that database is open in another container or on the host can corrupt the database as the container instance tries to repair what it sees as an incorrectly-closed database and then use the database without any regard for the existing database connection.

When using this image on Windows or Mac OS X, you must either:

1. Stop your storagenode software,
2. Run a container from this image to estimate your earnings,
3. Restart your storagenode software.

Or:

1. Stop your storagenode software,
2. Copy the storagenode database files to another directory,
3. Restart your storagenode software,
4. Run a container from this image against the copy of the database files.
