⁠What is Floating Server?

Floating Server is a service providing floating licensing for Cloud and for On-premise environment.

⁠Quickstart

This guide will get you from zero to one (Floating server) in no time.

Step 1: Download Floating Server Docker image

docker pull censedata/floating-server

Step 2: Run Floating Server in a container

docker run -d --name floating-server -p 8080:8080 censedata/floating-server

Step 3: Configure the server

• Visit http://localhost:8080 and log in with default password admin
• Go to Configuration
• Set a new password (and keep it safe, because it can't be reset)
• Get your API key and Shared key from LicenseSpring and enter it
• Add products and their configuration

Note: Server automatically restarts on configuration changes
