⁠Intro

Hello, Welcome to an angular docker container for a simple coin bank.

This docker image was built using docker build --build-arg BASE_IMAGE=node:14.15.0-alpine3.10 -t docker-assessment-angular

• This was built using ARGs you can change the node version you wish to use.
• There is one ENV var that is set which is ENV PORT 8080 so this image will be "exposed" on port 8080.

⁠Steps for use:

1. pull the image using docker pull cgerhar3/docker-assessment-angular

2. run docker images to see cgerhar3/docker-assessment-angular in the list

3. run docker run -p YOUR_CHOICE_OF_PORT:8080 --rm --name YOUR_CONT_NAME_CHOICE cgerhar3/docker-assessment-angular Note: This will then show some console logs of the docker container spinning up the app which exposes on port 8080 - you will not go to 8080 unless you specified your port to 8080

4. Go to http://localhost:YOUR_CHOICE_OF_PORT⁠

5. Hopefully see a coin bank
