The Docker image is configured through four environment variables:

• INPUT
• OUTPUT
• AIF_INPUT_PATH
• AIF_OUTPUT_PATH

The image does not take any command line parameters.

All TA1 Worker containers in the AIDA Algorithm Container Environment are required to use the INPUT and OUTPUT environment variables. The INPUT environment variable is the path to a directory containing an LDC source corpus with a directory structure like LDC2019E04⁠ or LDC2020E11⁠. Please see the TA1 Worker Confluence page⁠ for more details.

The AIF_INPUT_PATH and AIF_OUTPUT_PATH environment variables are specific to this Docker image.

When run, the Docker image will:

• read in all AIF files in $AIF_INPUT_PATH/*.ttl
• read in LTF XML source documents referenced by these AIF files from $INPUT/data/ltf/*.ltf.xml
• run the JHU pipeline and write out new AIF files to $AIF_OUTPUT_PATH
