⁠chefworks/lighthouse

This image can be used to run lighthouse tests. The output files are placed under docker container paths/lighthouse/lighthouse.report.html and /lighthouse/lighthouse.report.json.

Check the lighthouse budget help page⁠ for details on budget.json syntax.

Run the image without any arguments to see the lighthouse client help.

Note: the following lighthouse arguments are hard coded and cannot be overridden:

• --chrome-flags="--headless --no-sandbox --disable-gpu"
• --output html,json
• --output-path ./lighthouse
• --no-enable-error-reporting

⁠Examples

Node: if the --preset desktop option is not given, lighthouse defaults to mobile

⁠Run without arguments to see lighthouse client help

docker run --rm chefworks/lighthouse

⁠Run without overBudget checking

docker run -v $(pwd)/data:/lighthouse --shm-size=1g  --rm chefworks/lighthouse https://www.chefworks.com --preset desktop

⁠Run with overBudget checking

1. cd to workdir
2. copy over budget file to workdir
3. run image with --budget-path= flag:

docker run -v $(pwd):/lighthouse --shm-size=1g  --rm chefworks/lighthouse https://en.wikipedia.org --preset desktop --budget-path=./budget.json

⁠Dockerfile

The Dockerfile used is bundled with the image for reference purposes. To print it stdout:

docker run --entrypoint cat --rm chefworks/lighthouse /Dockerfile
