500K+
A simple updater for Google Domains Synthetic records Dynamic DNS . The app should be run from the host where the assigned public IP address changes, e.g. Home DSL or cloud providers without static public IP.
The app works through the following process:
The process currently repeats every 5 minutes, this is a simple sleep timeer (300s) so over time the update point will drift.
The App can be run as a script or you can download the Docker container image from Docker (chriscoveyduck/google-domains-ddns)
The app takes in 4 environment variables.
Follow steps to configure the synthetic record on Google Domains
Configure the 4 environment variables above, the UPDATE_URL will be https://domains.google.com/nic/update
