⁠Blocklist

This service is just a little helper to load a huge text file containing IP addresses. For example from blocklist.de.

If nothing is specified, the service expects a blocklist.txt file under /tmp and the service runs on all interfaces port 8080.

⁠Running it

docker run -name blocklist -p 127.0.0.1:8080:8080 -e BLOCKLIST_PATH=/app/config/blocklist.txt -v /path/to/blocklist.txt:/app/config/blocklist.txt

⁠Request and response

A service can send a JSON request to:

http://ip/check⁠

with the payload:

{"ip":"ip.address.to.check"}

The respone will be one of three:

1. IP was found on the list:

{"found":true}

1. IP was not found on the list:

{"found":false}

1. If errors happend:

{"error":"her is some error message"}

⁠Note

The service checks for a newer blocklist.txt version every 60 seconds and does automatically reload it.
