Postgres database with "duckdb_fdw" foreign data wrapper (FDW) extension installed. This image enables connection to the DuckDB database. Which in turn allows you to query JSON, Excel and many more types of files via plain SQL.

⁠Notes:

tag: 16.2_fdw2.1.1 - version 2.1.1 was used initially by the duckdb_fdw author. Later, author made it in sync with official duckdb release version. Hence, newer version of an image 16.3_fdw1.0.0 has a lower fdw1.0.0 version.

⁠Datero

Used as a building block in Datero engine image⁠.

Datero⁠ is data platform built on top of postgres database image with multiple FDWs isntalled. It allows to execute Federated SQL over different by nature data-sources within single SELECT statement. It also provides GUI for setting up datasource connections and SQL editor. Without any coding you could quickly setup data hub and start exploring your data.
