⁠Base Images

All base images are based on Ubuntu LTS releases, which is part of the image name. We track main, updates and security for all packages. NodeJS uses upstream packages from NodeSource.

We only maintain packages from Long Term Support (LTS) distributions and external package repositories. Packages that are not part of the Extended Security Maintenance (ESM) when a new Ubuntu LTS is released will be deprecated and removed at end of Standard Support.

Image name is a construct of base image, application and image type.

Examples:
