⁠Caddy-DNS

Prebuilt Caddy⁠ Docker images with DNS provider modules for automatic HTTPS via Let's Encrypt DNS-01 challenges.

Each image contains a standard Caddy build with a single caddy-dns⁠ plugin compiled in, ready to use.

⁠Quick Start

⁠Image Defaults

• Base image: Official caddy:{version} Alpine image
• Architectures: linux/amd64, linux/arm64
• Ports: 80 (HTTP), 443 (HTTPS), 443/udp (HTTP/3)
• Config path: /etc/caddy/Caddyfile
• Data path: /data (TLS certificates are stored here — mount a volume to persist)
• Config path: /config (auto-generated JSON config)
• User: Runs as non-root by default (same as upstream Caddy image)

⁠Tag Format

Each DNS provider has two tags:

Use the versioned tag for production deployments. Use latest for development or when you want automatic updates.
