⁠What

This container provides all of facebook's Hack components which were available before the removal⁠ of h2tp. Thus, the following Hack components are available:

• h2tp
• hackificator
• hh_format
• hhvm-repo-mode
• hack_remove_soft_types
• hh_server
• hackfmt
• hh_client
• hhvm

⁠Why

We want to build software using Hack, but run everywhere (PHP).

⁠Usage

Start the container and make your Hack files available to it:

docker run -t -d -v /hack-files/path:/hack-files/path \
-e USERID=$UID \
--name hack \
codeneric/hack-transpiler

Transpile all Hack files:

docker exec hack h2tp /hack-files/path  /hack-files/path/php

Now you can find your transpiled PHP files in the folder /hack-files/path/php
