⁠Webmin

This Docker image contains a dockerized version of webmin⁠.

⁠Quickstart

To use this Docker image, you can run the following command:

docker run -p 10000:10000 -e WEBMIN_PASS=<your_password> coderitter/webmin:latest

Replace <your_password> with the desired password for the root user in Webmin. If you don't set a password the password will be blank.

⁠Environment Variables

• WEBMIN_PASS: This environment variable sets the root password for Webmin. It is required for proper configuration.

⁠Dockerfile Details

This Docker image is built upon the official Ubuntu LTS image and includes the following components:

• entrypoint.sh: This script is the entry point for the container. It sets the root password using changepass.pl and starts Webmin in the foreground.

• webmin_2.105_all.deb: The Webmin .deb file is copied to the container and installed with necessary dependencies such as net-tools, make and build-essential.

• cpanm: The CPAN (Comprehensive Perl Archive Network) module Net::LDAP is installed using CPAN Minus (cpanm).
