⁠Bitbucket Pipeline Pipe: Release Version

This pipe creates and updates the repository release version variable

⁠YAML Definition

Add the following snippet to the script section of your bitbucket-pipelines.yml file:

script:
  - pipe: computronix/bitbucket-pipe-release-version
    variables:
      BITBUCKET_API_OAUTHCONSUMER_KEY: '<string>'
      BITBUCKET_API_OAUTHCONSUMER_SECRET: '<string>'

⁠Input Parameters

⁠Basic example:

Example to create and update the repository variable RELEASE_VERSION:

script:
  - pipe: computronix/bitbucket-pipe-release-version
    variables:
      BITBUCKET_API_OAUTHCONSUMER_KEY: '<string>'
      BITBUCKET_API_OAUTHCONSUMER_SECRET: '<string>'

Or using a custom release variable MY_RELEASE_VERSION::

script:
  - pipe: computronix/bitbucket-pipe-release-version
    variables:
      BITBUCKET_API_OAUTHCONSUMER_KEY: '<string>'
      BITBUCKET_API_OAUTHCONSUMER_SECRET: '<string>'
      RELEASE_VARIABLE_NAME: 'MY_RELEASE_VERSION'
