⁠How to Use

This container will download RIBs from routeviews and RIPE when informed on the command line.

To run, you need to point the directory to download, the projects (ripe and/or routeviews), the date in the format YYYYMMDD, if you want ribs (--ribs) and/or updates (--updates), if you want to download (--download) or just check and the number of files of the day (-n 1), if not set the last option, will download all dumps from the day.

Example:

docker run -it --mount type=bind,src=/tmp/dumps/,dst=/app/dumps/ condector/dumpdownloader:1.0 python get_mrt_dumps.py -p ripe routeviews -d $DATE --ribs --download -n 1

to use this downloads with our inference for location and action communities you need to sanitize the names of the downloaded RIB files:

docker run -it --mount type=bind,src=/tmp/dumps/,dst=/app/dumps/ condector/dumpdownloader:1.0 sanitize
