configrd/configrd-service repository overview

Configrd externalizes and syncs configuration such as environment variables and application properties across services and environments, including developer local workstations. Never again let a build or deployment fail because someone added or changed an environment without telling everyone.

Configrd allows your developers, devops, infosec and other to override, switch, extend, diff, share and query configurations from anywhere in muliple formats such as key-value, json and yaml. Configurations can be sourced and mangaged from git, file, http/s, HashiCorp Vault and s3.

We built Configrd becasue we got tired of editing .env files in a million places or scratching our heads when an application mysteriously fails to start.
