⁠Introduction

This is a lightweight (< 10MB) XMRig with Alpine Linux in a container. It is to ease the setup by just entering 2 variables to start mining crypto using CPU.

⁠Linux Architecture Support

This docker support linux both amd64 and arm64/v8 architectures.

x.x.x: A specific version
latest: Last stable version

⁠Get me started fast!

To quickly get started running a 24/7 CPU Miner instance, use the following command:

sudo docker run -e YOUR_ADDRESS='{XMRig Address Format}' -e YOUR_WORKER_NAME='{Input Worker Name}' cooleye72/xmrig:latest

Example 1: Get started fast command

sudo docker run -e YOUR_ADDRESS=NANO:nano_541djjt9qa1hxik3x -e YOUR_WORKER_NAME=MyMining1 cooleye72/xmrig:latest

Note: Algo default set to rx/0 and pool server default set to rx.unmineable.com:3333

To change the algorithm and server URL to mine with graphic card, use the following command:

sudo docker run -e ALGO_MODE='{ALGO_MODE}' -e POOL_URL='{POOL_URL}' -e YOUR_ADDRESS='{XMRig Address Format}' -e YOUR_WORKER_NAME='{Input Worker Name}' cooleye72/xmrig:latest

Example 2: Change algorithm and server command

sudo docker run -e ALGO_MODE=rx/0 -e POOL_URL=rx.unmineable.com:3333 -e YOUR_ADDRESS=NANO:nano_541djjt9qa1hxik3x -e YOUR_WORKER_NAME=MyMining1 cooleye72/xmrig:latest

Note: Please refer to the Configuration section below for the environment variable parameters.
