Ready for development without extra unnecessary packages. Ideal for local development environments where only the essential PHP extensions and runtime libraries are needed.

Included PHP Extensions:

pdo_pgsql – PostgreSQL database access

pgsql – PostgreSQL native driver

intl – Internationalization support (ICU)

zip – ZIP archive handling

bcmath – Arbitrary precision math

gmp – High-precision arithmetic (optional, commonly used in Laravel apps)

gd – Image processing (with JPEG and FreeType support)

pcntl – Process control (used in queues, CLI scripts)

opcache – PHP bytecode caching for performance

mbstring – Multibyte string support

xml – XML parsing

Runtime Libraries Installed:

icu-libs – for intl

libzip – for zip

oniguruma – for mbstring

postgresql-libs – required for pdo_pgsql / pgsql

libpng, libjpeg-turbo, freetype – for gd

Notes:

No MySQL support included to keep the image minimal.

Build dependencies removed after compilation to reduce image size.

Can be used as a base image for multiple Laravel projects, allowing addition of project-specific PHP configuration (php.ini) or other customizations.
