This script will pull product data from a Shopify store using the following peices of information:
Using this information we can get the information we need to start the import process for Shopify.
This application has been wrapped up inside a docker container and published to dockerhub to be used by whoever may need it without installing PHP.
You will need to create the output-csvs folder prior to running the docker command:
mkdir output-csvs
Then, to run it through docker you can execute the following command replacing the store url and api-key parameters:
docker run -it -v $(pwd)/output-csvs:/output-csvs creode/shopifyproductscraper:latest --api-key <API_KEY> --store-url <STORE_URL>
Providing no paramters will prompt them in the command so this is not necessary.
This application only works through the command line and is built on top of the Symfony Console component.
This script comes with a couple of options on the CLI to authenticate with a store before collecting some data. This will hopefully speed up the sync process. The options are:
--api-key (-k)--store-url (-s)In order to collect this data you can run the following:
php bin/console get-product-variants --api-key <API_KEY> --store-url <STORE_URL>
Or
php bin/console get-product-variants -k <API_KEY> -u <STORE_URL>
You will be prompted for the API key and upon providing the script will collect all product data from the given website. Once completed this data will be stored inside the /output-csvs folder in a CSV format ready to be imported to the Shopify store.
