You have to create /data directory and create 2 files (options.conf , plus.conf ) touch /data/{options.conf,plus.conf} then you can run : docker run --rm -d --name bind -p 53:53/udp -v /data/:/data croustibate/bind9

In options.conf you can add stuff like "recursion no;" In plus.conf you can set zone .
