# Cronmanager – Web UI

The web UI is the browser-facing component of the [Cronmanager](https://github.com/csoscd/cronmanager) stack.
Built on PHP 8.4 and Nginx, it provides a full-featured interface for managing, monitoring, and exporting
Linux cron jobs.

> **This image is part of a stack.** The recommended way to run it is together with
> `cs1711/cronmanager-agent` and `mariadb:lts` using the provided Compose file.

## Quick start

```bash

    -o docker-compose-full.yml

# Create a .env file with the required variables (see below), then:
docker compose -f docker-compose-full.yml up -d

Open http://<your-host>:8880/ — a setup wizard creates the initial admin account on first visit.

Features

- Create, edit, copy, and delete cron jobs with schedules, tags, and multi-host SSH targets
- Full execution history with captured stdout/stderr output, exit codes, and runtimes
- Dashboard, timeline, and swimlane schedule views across all jobs
- Per-job statistics: success rate, average/min/max duration, duration chart
- Execution time limits with optional auto-kill and email alerts
- Singleton mode: skip new executions while a previous instance is still running
- Role-based access: Admin (full access) and Viewer (read-only)
- Local username/password accounts and SSO via OpenID Connect (Authentik and others)
- Export jobs as crontab file or JSON; import existing unmanaged crontab entries
- English and German localisation; dark mode

Required environment variables

AGENT_HMAC_SECRET – Shared signing secret — must match the agent container
DB_PASSWORD – MariaDB application user password
DB_NAME – Database name (default: cronmanager)
DB_USER – Database user (default: cronmanager)

Optional environment variables

AGENT_URL – Agent base URL (default: http://cronmanager-agent:8865)
AGENT_TIMEOUT – HTTP timeout in seconds (default: 10)
DB_HOST – MariaDB hostname (default: cronmanager-db)
LOG_LEVEL – debug, info, warning, error (default: info)
LOG_MAX_DAYS – Log retention in days (default: 30)
SESSION_LIFETIME – Session timeout in seconds (default: 3600)
I18N_LANGUAGE – Default language: en or de (default: en)
OIDC_ENABLED – Enable OpenID Connect SSO (default: false)
OIDC_PROVIDER_URL – OIDC provider discovery URL
OIDC_CLIENT_ID – OAuth 2.0 client ID
OIDC_CLIENT_SECRET – OAuth 2.0 client secret
OIDC_REDIRECT_URI – Callback URL (https://your-domain/auth/callback)
OIDC_SSL_VERIFY – Verify OIDC provider TLS certificate (default: true)
OIDC_SSL_CA_BUNDLE – Path to custom CA bundle inside the container
