⁠QwenRPC Dev Environment

A ready-to-use Docker image for developing QwenRPC⁠, a C++ RPC framework learning project.

This image is intended for development, CI, and testing only, not for production deployment.

⁠What's Inside

  • Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
  • GCC 11 + CMake 3.22
  • Protocol Buffers 3.12.4
  • Muduo network library (built from source)
  • Boost, glog
  • ZooKeeper C client and ZooKeeper server (for local testing)
  • GDB, vim, git, curl, wget

⁠Supported Architecture

  • linux/arm64 (Apple Silicon Macs, ARM64 servers)

⁠Quick Start

⁠Pull the image
docker pull cspenguin/qwenrpc-dev:latest
⁠Run a development container
docker run -it --rm \
  -v "$(pwd)":/workspace \
  -w /workspace \
  cspenguin/qwenrpc-dev:latest
⁠Start ZooKeeper inside the container
service zookeeper start
⁠Verify Muduo
ls /usr/local/include/muduo
ls /usr/local/lib | grep muduo
⁠Verify ZooKeeper C client
ls /usr/include/zookeeper/zookeeper.h
ls /usr/lib/aarch64-linux-gnu/ | grep zookeeper

⁠Available Tags

  • latest — latest development environment
  • v0.1.0 — pinned stable version

⁠Build Locally

If you prefer to build the image yourself:

git clone https://github.com/cspenguin/QwenRPC.git
cd QwenRPC
docker build -f docker/Dockerfile.dev -t qwenrpc-dev .

⁠Notes

  • This is a development/CI image, not a production image.
  • The image includes a ZooKeeper server for local testing convenience.
  • For production deployment, please build a separate minimal runtime image.
