A simple docker image facilitating scanning documents to PDF

Configuration:

• Environment:
  • OUTPUT_UID: The UID of the user who should own the resulting PDFs
  • OUTPUT_GID: The GID of the group who should own the resulting PDFs
• Volumes:
  • /scans: The directory where the scans will be written
• Devices:
  • /dev/bus/usb
    • Feel free to just pass your relevant device in here. This container needs /dev access to the scanner to function properly.

Note: The logs will have fairly frequent complaints about DBus; this is not necessary for the functionality, so they are safe to ignore.
