⁠Cyber ICE Box — exercises-frontend

⁠Overview

Exercise catalog and editor, including author test labs. This container is a component of the Cyber ICE Box platform.

⁠Usage

Example environment file exercises-frontend.env:

NEXT_PUBLIC_DOMAIN=example.com
[email protected]

docker run --rm --env-file exercises-frontend.env -p 8080:8080 \
  cybericebox/exercises-frontend:v1.2.4

The HTTP listener uses 8080; TLS uses 8443 when certificates are mounted at /tls/tls.crt and /tls/tls.key. The dedicated health listener uses 8081 with /healthz.

⁠Configuration

NEXT_PUBLIC_DOMAIN is a bare base domain without a scheme, port or path. Service hosts derive from this value. NEXT_PUBLIC_SUPPORT_EMAIL is required. The image serves a static Next.js export with nginx; public environment values are substituted at container startup.

Deploy alongside the platform backend; starting this container alone does not provide a working platform. See the configuration reference for all listener, TLS and optional settings.

⁠Versions

• vX.Y.Z: releases; pin an explicit version for deployment.
• latest: the most recently promoted release.
• vX.Y.Z-rc.N: release candidates, when published.
• sha-<7>: development builds under the current publication workflow. Older builds may use full commit hashes.

Images are built for linux/amd64 and linux/arm64. Each platform component has its own release version.
