⁠Neo4J Database with German Highway System Data

⁠Credit

• Base image is neo4j:2025.01.0-community-bullseye
• Highway data taken from public CSV tables provided by toll-collect.de⁠ as of 2021

⁠Start a container

You can start a container like this:

docker run \
    --publish=7474:7474 --publish=7687:7687 \
    d4lj3t/neo4j-highways:latest

Do not map a volume since the highway data are part of the image.

Use your browser to access the UI http://localhost:7474⁠.

⁠Access the data

In the Browser use the credentials neo4j and highways to log on.

The data contain two nodes with labels Highway and Interchange.

Interchange nodes have directed edges labeled PART_OF to Highway nodes.

Interchange nodes are connected with two directed edges labeled CONNECTS, one for each direction.
