It's simple, you can just run codespell by using this Docker image, in any workflow you would like.
docker run --rm danger89/codespell:latest --help
For example mount your local working directory at the default working directory (/app) inside Docker using a volume mount:
docker run -v $(pwd):/app --rm -t danger89/codespell:latest
FROM python:3.12.9-alpine3.21
# Install codespell
RUN pip3 install --no-cache-dir codespell
WORKDIR /app
ENTRYPOINT ["codespell"]
