A lightweight container for running Cloudflare tunnels using the official cloudflared daemon.
545
This Docker image provides a lightweight container for running Cloudflare tunnels using the official cloudflared daemon. Based on Alpine Linux, it offers a minimal footprint while providing full cloudflared functionality.
docker run danmuller/cloudflared:latest tunnel --no-autoupdate --url http://localhost:3000
services:
tunnel:
image: danmuller/cloudflared:latest
command: 'tunnel --no-autoupdate --url http://localhost:3000'
The container uses cloudflared as its entrypoint, allowing you to pass tunnel commands directly. Here are some common configuration patterns:
# Run a tunnel to a local HTTP service
docker run danmuller/cloudflared tunnel --url http://localhost:8000
# Run with no automatic updates
docker run danmuller/cloudflared tunnel --no-autoupdate --url http://localhost:8000
# Run with a specific configuration file
docker run -v ~/.cloudflared:/etc/cloudflared danmuller/cloudflared tunnel --config /etc/cloudflared/config.yml run
The Dockerfile is available on GitHub. To build the image locally:
docker build -t danmuller/cloudflared .
