This image is the image of a blog website, built on Django for the backend, HTML, CSS, and Javascript for the front end, and operating on the default database sqlite3. Therefore on launching, the admin user can add blogs, but since we have used sqlite3, the data is not persistent. (When the container is recreated, all the blogs are lost-apart from those initially present)
docker run --name preferred-name -d -p8000:8000 dannywangari/complete-blog:tag
docker run --name blog -d -p8000:8000 dannywangari/complete-blog:latest
In the given example, a name has been given, and exposed to port 8000. To map it to a different port, consider running the command below: This maps port 80 on the host machine to port 8000 inside the container
docker run --name blog -d -p80:8000 dannywangari/complete-blog:latest
FROM python:3
ENV PYTHONUNBUFFERED 1
WORKDIR /app
COPY requirements.txt ./
RUN pip install --upgrade pip RUN pip install -r requirements.txt
COPY . ./
EXPOSE 8000
CMD ["python", "manage.py", "runserver", "0.0.0.0:8000"]
