⁠What is Cloaksocks?

The "Shadowsocks + Cloak" = cloaksocks project is a combination of two powerful tools that provide increased security and anonymity on the internet when using the Shadowsocks protocol.

⁠Shadowsocks

Shadowsocks is a proxy server that encrypts and disguises your internet traffic, making it indistinguishable to third-party observers.

⁠Cloak

Cloak is not a standalone proxy program. Rather, it works by masquerading proxied traffic as normal web browsing activities. In contrast to traditional tools which have very prominent traffic fingerprints and can be blocked by simple filtering rules, it's very difficult to precisely target Cloak with little false positives.

⁠Cloaksocks

The combination of Shadowsocks and Cloak enables effective censorship circumvention and helps ensure the security and privacy of your internet connections. With this project, you can easily bypass restrictions while maintaining your anonymity and security online.
