Vertigo has a docker image, available at dbmidev/vertigo
You need to open the the port that you would like vertigo to use on docker. Either by port forwarding -p 5000:5000 or by havnig docker use the host networking --net=host
Due to python's buffering of stdout, you need to run docker with the -t flag to have output printed to the console on time.
Server example
docker run --rm -v $PWD:/output -t -p 5000:5000 dbmidev/vertigo:latest ./server.py -n 2 -p 5000 --outputDir /output
Client example
docker run --rm -v ~/input/:/input -v $PWD:/output -t -p 5000:5000 dbmidev/vertigo:latest ./client.py -a 'ec2-34-239-175-130.compute-1.amazonaws.com' -p 5000 -f /input/X1.csv --outputDir /output -o y
