ddelisle/wordpress repository overview

This chart deploys on K8-on-KVM implementation using Cloudflare Tunnel found here: https://github.com/delisled/K8-on-KVM

How I created this wordpress chart:

  1. Pulled bitnomi wordpress version: wordpress-24.1.18
  2. Added wordpress-ingress.yaml to Helm Chart: /wordpress/templates/.
  3. Uninstalled existing deployment
  4. Packaged modified chart
  5. Installed packaged chart
  6. Tests resulted in a successful deployment

Installation Instructions

Install: helm install wordpress oci://registry-1.docker.io/ddelisle/wordpress --version 24.1.18

Once deployed on your K8 cluster, perform these steps:

  • kubectl edit ingress wordpress
  • Modify line with your: "[sub-domain preference].[cloudflare domain name]": external-dns.alpha.kubernetes.io/hostname:
  • Modify line with your: "[cloudflare tunnel id].cfargotunnel.com": external-dns.alpha.kubernetes.io/target:
  • Modify line to match your: "external-dns.alpha.kubernetes.io/hostname" entry: "spec"/"rules"/"- host"

Login page URL example: https://wordpress.cd3.online/wp-login.php

The default username is: user

The password is different with each install so obtain the password using command: $(kubectl get secret --namespace default wordpress -o jsonpath="{.data.wordpress-password}" | base64 -d)
