deepcomp/tt5srv repository overview

Simply pull the image first:
docker pull deepcomp/tt5srv:latest
After that, you can use your own existing configuration, or create a new one. The working directory in the container is the /srv folder.
If you want to use your own configuration, simply copy it to a folder and mount it
mkdir srv
Copy your config to the new srv dir.
docker run --network host -v $PWD:/srv -d --name tt5srv deepcomp/tt5srv:latest
You can check runtime logs by typing
docker logs tt5srv
and more logs in the log folder (if enabled).
Alternatively, you can use docker-compose (see below).
⁠ENV vars and tags
you can use ENV vars to set up the server's timezone and to set up the uid and pgid (these are the owners of TeamTalk's files on the host system AND ONLY THESE CAN ACCESS IT)

The gid of the files owner group
(Before version 5.8, use puid and pgid instead PUID and PGID (non-capital letters))
You can specify a version tag (see available tags), but there are two important. The latest tag contains the latest stable version that downloadable here⁠. The testing contains the latest compiled version (beta, RC). If the latest version is a stable version, I store it on the testing. If you are brave, you can use the latest version with testing tag.
⁠NEW! Multi-platform support
WARNING: The developer seems to be released the hand of the ARM releases so you can use 5.13 version on ARM platforms.
In the past, you could only use this image on AMD64 (x86_64). From now, you can pull the images starting with v5.10 on ARM64 and ARMHF machines (e.g. Raspberry-PI, Oracle Cloud Ampere instances), and you can use it as on AMD64.
⁠Setup a new server
IF you don't have your own configuration, or want to set up a new one, simply run the setup in the following mode to set the correct folder:
mkdir srv
docker run -v $PWD/srv:/srv --rm -it --entrypoint tt5srv deepcomp/tt5srv:latest -wizard -wd /srv
WARNING: If you want to turn on file sharing, important to use the /srv/files location to storing files, and create it before setup. Exec the following command on the host in the TT root folder:
mkdir ./srv/files
After the successfull setup, you can run with the command shown upper or you can use docker-compose, this is the suggested method
