This repository provides a ready-to-run Docker instance that acts as a secure, containerized wrapper or proxy for the Google Gemini API. It allows you to quickly launch the service and manage your API key via an environment variable.

⁠Quick Start

To run the container, you must provide your Google Gemini API key as an environment variable (GEMINI_API_KEY).

Replace "YOUR_ACTUAL_API_KEY" with your key before running the following command:

docker run -d \
  -p 5000:5000 \
  --name gemini-api-container \
  -e GEMINI_API_KEY="YOUR_ACTUAL_API_KEY" \
  deewhy/gemini-api:latest
