Versions The FCS of 12.8 is referred to as :12.8.0.
:12.8 is the latest patch of 12.8.x (at te time of writing 12.8.4)
:latest refers to the latest LTS (at te time of writing 12.8.4)

This image provides a clean install of the OpenEdge compiler (4gl development system). The typical usage look like this:

docker run -it ^
    -v <project-dir>/src:/app/src ^
    -v <project-dir>/artifacts:/artifacts ^
    -v <project-dir>/progress.cfg:/usr/dlc/progress.cfg ^
    openedge-compiler:12.8.4 ^
    /app/src/scripts/build.sh

This is obviously BYOL (bring your own license) hence the mapping to /usr/dlc/progress.cfg. Note: ESAM requires this file to /usr/dlc/progress.cfg. Other mapping together with PROCFG env var won't works as of 12.6.
