EndpointsJSON

This app is designed to help you maintain an endpoints.json file while developing an API.

Manually formatting the file can be a pain, this app allows you to concentrate on the contents of the file and deals with the formatting for you. It manages formatting for:

  • The HTML method đŸ—ŗī¸
  • The endpoint path đŸ‘Ŗ
  • The detailed information for each endpoint â„šī¸
  • The order of the endpoints 🔀
  • Removing an endpoint ❌
  • Adding a new endpoint with detailed information ➕

Gettering Started

docker pull devdolphin7/endpoints-json

Running on Linux

docker run -ti --rm \
   -e DISPLAY=$DISPLAY \
   -v /tmp/.X11-unix:/tmp/.X11-unix \
   --mount src="/home",target="/mnt",type=bind \
   devdolphin7/endpoints-json

Running on Mac

X11 forwarding is required. This can be achieved through XQuartz.

First, follow this guide (be aware of the warnings in the guide) and then run the command below.

docker run -ti --rm \
   -e DISPLAY=docker.for.mac.host.internal:0 \
   -v /tmp/.X11-unix:/tmp/.X11-unix \
   --mount src="/home",target="/mnt",type=bind \
   devdolphin7/endpoints-json

File Access

💡 In order to access your endpoints.json file, the --mount argument will mount the host computer /home directory to the docker OS /mnt directory. Feel free to change these as required for your particular setup.
