docker run -it --rm -u 1000 -v "$PWD":/opt/src/ -w /opt/src devstudy/git git clone "https://github.com/devstudy-net/docker"

This command clones the remote repository https://github.com/devstudy-net/docker to the current folder using user with id = 1000 (i.e. non root user)
