⁠apache2-http2

Docker container with Apache 2.4.25 and http2 support.

⁠Usage

docker run -d \
    --name my-apache-with-http2 \
    -v /path/to/sites/conf:/etc/apache2/sites-enabled \
    -p 80:80 \
    devsu/apache2-http2:latest

⁠Notes

The web server is only going to load .conf files from the /path/to/sites/conf folder.

If you want to use a diferent port, you have to add the Listen statement in your Virtualhost:

Listen 81
<VirtualHost *:81>
    ...
</VirtualHost>

And then add (or replace) the port value (-p) with the new one:

docker run -d \
    --name my-apache-with-http2 \
    -v /path/to/sites/conf:/etc/apache2/sites-enabled \
    -p 80:80 \
    -p 81:81 \
    devsu/apache2-http2:latest

You can use it as a reverse proxy like this:

<VirtualHost *:80>
        Protocols h2c
        ServerName my-grpc-server.local
        ProxyPass "/" "h2c://172.17.0.3:3000/"
        ProxyPassReverse "/" "h2c://172.17.0.3:3000/"
</VirtualHost>
