⁠dump1090

Alpine based docker image of dump1090 with nginx web server. Small image size: 23 MB. This image can be used as a local receiver and display of ADSB data. piaware is not included so the container doesn't talk to flightaware.com.

⁠Includes

• dump1090 to read an RTLSDR receive
• nginx web-server to serve up pages at http://localhost:8080⁠

⁠Tags

• Latest: Built with RTLSDR standard libraries
• RTLSDR4: Built with RTLSDR V4 libraries

⁠Why no Piaware connection to Flightaware?

The program can be run split in two containers and is set up to communciate via UDP with Piaware. However, there is no size or performance advantge in doing so. Total image size running split is almost 20MB larger than when combined with piaware.

This was an experiment, and might be useful for those not wishing to share data with Flightaware.
