How I run the container

I'm currently running piaware on an amd64 Dell Wyse 3040 I got surplus. I run docker on alpine linux for size, but debian works just as well. The applications easily runs in the 2GB of RAM and 8GB of emmc disk that comes with the 3040.

Notes

Important: UDEV rules must be set up on the docker host to grant read/write permissions to the flightware USB stick!

(Note to Self) The piaware application uses both dpkg* and netstat commands which live in /usr/bin.

Acknowledgements

  • Thanks to Flightaware for providing the original files.
