Language server for the Dhall configuration language
1.7K
This image lets you run the dhall-lsp-server executable built from the Haskell implementation of the Dhall configuration language:
$ docker run --interactive --rm dhallhaskell/dhall-lsp-server dhall-lsp-server
Remember to mount any directories that contain files that you need to edit so that the language server can access them:
$ docker run --interactive --rm --volume /path/to/project:/path/to/project dhallhaskell/dhall-lsp-server dhall-lsp-server
Despite the name, a language server is not an actual server. A language server reads input messages from standard input and writes output messages to standard output. Your editor's configuration will ask you to provide a command to run the language server (such as the above one if you prefer to use docker). Then your editor will take care of running the language server as a child sub-process and communicate to the process via standard input and standard output.
This image is a minimized image containing only the dhall-lsp-server executable and its dependencies.
