⁠Debian images with build-essential package

These images is for compiling C/C++ with the default Debian GCC toolchain.

This image repository is part of the Toolchain Container Images for DHSOM⁠.

⁠What tags are available?

Tags consists of two parts: <DIST>-<ARCH>

• <DIST>: The Debian version that image is based on. Currently, we support jessie, stretch and buster.
• <ARCH>: The architecture the image is built for. Currently we support amd64, arm32v5(armel) and arm32v7(armhf).

⁠Quickstart

$ docker run -it --rm --mount type=bind,src=$(pwd)/,dst=$(pwd) --workdir $(pwd) --user $(id -u):$(id -g) dhelectronics/debian-build-essential:buster-amd64

Inside the container, you can now build your software. An example with make:

$ make
