cross compiler for rust projects. Tags are <RUSTUP-TARGET>_<GLIBC-VERSION>. From rust:1.41.0
396
tags suffixed with _it are interactive - they are basically rust images with the cross compiler target dependencies installed and are supposed to be able to have terminals started in them.
tags not suffixed with _it are executables and are supposed to be ran as such
docker run -v /path/to/rust/project:/proj dhy1996/rust-cc:<TAG>
If Cargo.toml pulls from private git repos, you can mount your .ssh directory with -v /home/your_account/.ssh:/home/user/.ssh
Essentially just runs cargo build --release --target=<RUSTUP-TARGET> in a docker container
Output will be in /path/to/rust/project/target/<RUSTUP-TARGET> , same as if you just compiled on the host.
Linkers available in images: aarch64-linux-gnu-gcc for arm64, arm-linux-gnueabihf-gcc for arm32hf. Don't forget to set those in your cargo config!
