⁠Employee Management System - Backend

This DockerHub repository hosts the backend service for the Employee Management System project, developed using Spring Boot and powered by PostgreSQL. The application is containerized for seamless deployment across development and production environments.

The service runs on port 1337 by default and requires several environment variables for proper configuration.

⁠Required Environment Variables

The following variables must be configured when running the container:

• DATASOURCE_URL: URL for the PostgreSQL database.
  Example: jdbc:postgresql://hostname:5432/database_name

• DATASOURCE_USERNAME: database username.

• DATASOURCE_PASSWORD: database password.

• JWT_SECRET: key used for signing JWT access and refresh tokens.

• JWT_EXPIRY_MS: token expiration time in milliseconds.
  Example: 10800000 (3 hours)

• JWT_REFRESH_EXPIRY_MS: token expiration time in milliseconds.
  Example: 43200000 (12 hours)

• PORT: port (default: 1337)

Example Docker run command:
