ditas/privacy-security-evaluator repository overview

Input: RequirementsMetric, Array[BlueprintMetric] Output: Array[{FulfilledBlueprintMetric, rank}]

RequirementMetric is a JSON object specifying the expected properties that a metric should fulfill.

BlueprintMetric is a JSON object specifying the properties of the metrics declared in a blueprint. Its structure is identical to the one of RequirementMetric.

The REST service should compare the array of BlueprintMetric, verifying for each element if it is compatible with RequirementsMetric, filtering out each BlueprintMetric that is not compatible. If more than one BlueprintMetric is compatible, the REST service should rank them, assigning the highest value to the metric that best fits RequirementsMetric. With the term “best”, we intend the metric that fulfills RequirementsMetric and minimizes the cost/complexity/computational requirments of the data provider. For example, if RequirementsMetric indicates an AES encryption algorithm with keylength of at least 128 bits, and the array of BlueprintMetric provides AES 64, AES 256 and AES 512, only AES 256 and AES 512 should be returned. In addition, a higher value should be assigned to AES 256, as it is the one that fulfills RequirementsMetric, but it requires less computational power than AES 512.
