⁠Stock Viewer

The stock-liveview is a NodeJS application designed to show the stock prices in real-time. It uses WebSockets to push the stock prices to the client. The stock prices are loaded from a MongoDB replica set.

⁠Environment Variables

MONGODB_URL: The URL of the MongoDB replica set (default: mongodb://127.0.0.1:27017,127.0.0.1:27018,127.0.0.1:27019/?replicaSet=rs0)

MONGODB_DB: The name of the database to use (default: stockmarket)

MONGODB_COLLECTION: The name of the collection to use (default: stocks)

MONGODB_URL: The URL which the viewer can reach the MongoDB (default: mongodb://127.0.0.1:27017,127.0.0.1:27018,127.0.0.1:27019/?replicaSet=rs0)

PORT: The port on which the application will run (default: 3000)

⁠Optional

NODE_ENV: The environment in which the application is running (default: development)
