How to use: running this image places you in /. You'll want to go to:

cd ~/phosim-3.4.2

There already exists a database here containing phosim runs, or you can make your own via:

python makePhoSimDB.py

This makes you a database containing 10 toy run entires. The first column is the run ID, the second is the web address from which to obtain the run catalogue, and the third is the status. You can run phosim through a loop, querying the database for the next undone run and running it, via:

python runPhoSim-NERSC.py

This sets up a unique work dir and output dir for the run, and at the end transfers the output to the /scratch space (which is globally accessible at NERSC) and cleans up the files generated in teh run.
