⁠About

This image come with a script ( /root/build.sh ) which executes and creates a custom Centos image from scratch

⁠Environment Variables

• $SOURCE: This is a mandatory variable and, it points to Arch Specific location of CentOS Packages on mirror, Please refer example blow
• $ORG: This is a mandatory variable and, it could be a Name of your Organisation , Company or simply docker repository
• $LATEST: If set to true , it tags current build to latest build , by default it is set to false

⁠Example

export SOURCE="http://mozart.ee.ic.ac.uk/CentOS/7/os/x86_64/" && \
export LATEST=true && \
export ORG="dummies" && \
docker run --rm -u root -e "ORG=$ORG" -e "SOURCE=$SOURCE" -e "LATEST=$LATEST" -v /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock dmascot/imagebuilder

Example above should produce an image called dummies/centos:7.4 , also tag it as dummies/centos:latest
