⁠JOpt.TourOptimizer — Java Example Sandbox

A browser-based IDE (code-server⁠ / Visual Studio Code) with Java, Maven, and the latest JOpt.TourOptimizer Java examples pre-installed. Start coding without installing Java, Maven, or an IDE.

⁠Quick start

docker run -it -d \
  --name jopt-examples \
  -p 127.0.0.1:8042:8080 \
  -v "$PWD/:/home/coder/project" \
  dnaevolutions/jopt_example_server:latest

Open http://localhost:8042⁠ and log in with password: jopt

On the first launch the latest examples are cloned automatically into the mounted volume. On subsequent launches existing files are preserved.

System requirements: 2 GB RAM and 2 CPU cores minimum.

⁠What's inside

The container clones and runs examples from:

github.com/DNA-Evolutions/Java-TourOptimizer-Examples⁠

The repository contains four categories of examples — Basic, Advanced, Expert, and RESTful — covering everything from a first optimization run to custom assessors, pickup and delivery, clustering, zone-based territory management, and REST API integration.
