⁠PayaraBase

Setup payara server with some basic configurations done required for deploying JavaEE applications. Including this image can reduce the work for dowloading payara server-full and configuring some basic options. Also, the main advantage is in case of large distributed systems which requires proxy to connect to internet.

⁠Version

Payara Server 4.1.1.171.1 #badassfish (build 139)

⁠Options configured (tag : 3.0)

• changes admin user:password to admin:admin
• enables secure-admin
• setup access logging (format : almost similar to apache's combined format)
• GC Options
• JVM heap size (2GB)
• HTTP configs
• JDBC Connection pool
• JDBC Resource
• Java Mail resource

⁠tag : 4.0

• Removes enable-secure-admin

⁠Dependency

Use java-8:jdk base image. Download, payara-server-full from Payara's AWS artifactory.
