⁠SambaShare server on Ubuntu Linux + S6 Overlay

Samba server linked with LDAP. Apply UNIX rights on files. Generate and send Samba password for the UNIX user.

⁠Auto configuration parameters :

• LDAP_HOST=ldap.example.com

• LDAP_BASE_DN=dc=thing,dc=example,dc=com

• LDAP_ADMIN_PASS=MyAwesomePassword4LDAP

• LDAP_DEFAULT_GROUP=users

• SMTP_SENDER=[email protected]⁠ ( cosmetic name )

• SMTP_HOST= mail.gateway.example.com ( SMTP gateway )

• SMTP_PORT=25 (or something else)

• SMTP_USER=[email protected]⁠ ( gateway user )

• SMTP_PASS=MyAwesomePassword4SMTP ( gateway user password )

⁠TODO features

• better template for the mail to send
• better password generation (even if the password will be memorized by the client)
