Simple environment generator image. Uses latest ubuntu and latest sdkman version to generate enviroments. By default installs java lts, it also supports the installation of any sdkman candidate but it always installs java lts.
- JAVA_VERSION --- specific java version to use
- FRAMEWORK --- specific Framework doubles down if you want to install any other version just include it.
- BUILD_TOOL --- specific tool, applies the same logic as the Framework
- REPOSITORY --- specifies a git repository to be cloned inside the devcontainer
services:
my_app:
image: 'dreamy236/sdkman-dev:0.0.1'
ports:
- '8080:8080'
container_name: my_app
stdin_open: true
environment:
- JAVA_VERSION=21.0.1-amzn
- BUILD_TOOL=maven
- FRAMEWORK=quarkus
- REPOSITORY="somelinktogitrepo.com"
tty: true
restart: always
If the container is not attaching the port correctly, or you try to test an API using localhost:<port> and it just says there's nothing running. Set the host port of your application to 0.0.0.0. This is a work around and it is not viable on production environments.
